Pender's cult was built on the belief that God was on their way to bring them to "walk across the transcendent planes," according to Pender. His beliefs got 9 primary leaders, with an estimate of a dozen people following each Thought leader, making Pender's organization roughly 109 members large. He would claim God is beautiful and would convince others to join him. The New Transcendentalists were a Doomsday cult loosely pieced together by a man named Ethan Pender, who claimed to behold God. Now, back to the New Transcendentalists in SCP: Overlord. Those who could witness Cthulhu would often try to make depictions of it, in hopes to show others its "true beauty." They claimed Cthulhu to be beautiful and would try their best to praise them for it. This was the case with many of the mythos, being seen as beautiful creatures, by those who were considered insane, and often had mental processing disorders. Those people, who would behold Cthulhu, were able to see Cthulhu because they had no sanity to lose. Cthulhu had a loosely-organized eldritch cult, all throughout the world, filled with seeds of evil that would praise the entity. According to Lovecraft, beyond Cthulhu's body, Cthulhu is defined as the embodiment of infinity, a being of such incomprehensible evil that those who look at it lose their sanity to the point of no return. Cthulhu is considered a seed of destruction, but most of this is actually inaccurate. Cthulhu in pop culture is defined as a towering scaly humanoid, with wings, and a squid for a head. Lovecraft's "Cthulhu." And no, I do not mean SCP-2662. I believe that the entity in SCP: Overlord is Evan's version of J.P.
